Book Keeping

This post will be short, and there will still be a regular post coming out later this morning, so don’t worry! I just have a couple of book keeping items that I want to share with you all, and I am pretty excited about them! Bear with me through all of them – there are 4, and they’re pretty big news for a small-time blogger like me!

1. My latest Guest Post is up in – you should all go check it out! If you’re wondering what my stance is on Stretching before/after a workout, this article spells it out, and hopefully will motivate you to consider (or perhaps reconsider) your entire workout strategy with a carefully critical perspective. Maybe you change some things, maybe you don’t – but it’s always good to be informed and thoughtful!

2. I’ve just been invited to do another Guest Post at, and I am REALLY excited about it! I love being invited to do Guest Posts – it’s an indication that people actually like what I have to say, and perhaps more importantly, how I say it! If you want to get a feel for what kinds of posts go up over at 365daysofbacon, you should all definitely head over there and check it out! I don’t know when my post is going to be put up, but I’ll be cooking up the recipe for it tonight and I am really looking forward to it seeing it posted up! Obviously, I’ll let you all know as soon as it gets posted!

3. Carl Mason-Liebenberg, over at has invited me to participate, as a contributor, in his “Sultry Summer Sculpting” Complete Body Transformation 90-day program. I will be submitted to his audience as a contributor, and as a chef, throughout his 90-day program. If you’ve been following my blog thus far, this may be a great chance to jump in on a 90-day program, knowing that one of the contributors is your very own Urban Paleo Chef! If any of you are interested, feel free to let me know in the comments section, or head on over to and let Carl know that I sent you. He’ll hook you up with a good deal – and trust me, it’s worth it!

4. I’ve just been invited to submit several recipes to a Paleo Compilation Cook Book (called “Fat Burning Kitchen”) over at! This is very exciting for me – even better than Guest Posts, though only slightly. It will be a huge opportunity, and hopefully a great step in the direction of recognition, for me to be published! I know that Noah Matthews said it first, so I’ll give credit where credit is due. Perhaps this will be the first step toward a published cookbook of my own? Who’s to say?!?

Ok, that’s all of it. I know, it’s quite a list, right?!? Well, exciting things are happening, and apparently I get to play my own very small part of it! Thanks for giving me an audience, you guys have kept me motivated!

Latest Guest Post Here! And It’s About BACON!!

Hey all – This will just be a quick little note to you to let you know that my latest guest post has been submitted, and it’s work I am really proud of! I was asked to write an article on how to find, evaluate, and eat bacon in a healthy way. So I took it as a chance to expound on the 4 rules I have on my Bacon Project page, about why they’re so important (the short version), and I stuck a new rule in at the number one spot! If you’d like to know what the new rule is, hop on over and take a peak!

And you know the drill: when you’re there, behave like proper guests. You know, leave graffiti, bounce around like hooligans to the other blog posts and let your presence be known, and generally have a great time!!!

Here it is:

Bacon! I Smell Bacon! But Is Bacon Good For Me?

Guest Post Is Up!

Hey all – nothing elaborate this morning. I am working on how to combine my weekend of food discoveries. Some of them will be, no doubt, forgotten. But the good ones are going to be put in to my own cooking, and shared with you!

The reason I am writing this post is to announce that my guest-post is up on! Everyone should definitely hop over and check it out! And while you’re there, take a look at some of Carl’s other content. Please be good guests, and leave lots of proof that you were there – grafiti (comments), vandalism (more comments), and generally making a mess (again, comments) are all considered good behavior. So, let’s make such a mess that I get a repeat invitation!

I’ll Be Guest Posting!

I have been given the most incredible honor! For any of you who follow me on twitter, you may have already picked up on this, since this came to me via twitter. But for those of you who missed it, or don’t follow me on twitter, here it is:

I’ve been invited to Guest Post at Carl Mason-Leibenburg’s

As I mentioned above, being invited to be a guest blogger is an incredible honor, and I just wanted to give you all a quick heads-up so you can go take a look at the blog that I’ll be guest-posting to. Here is what I’ve picked up of Carl Mason-Leibenberg, without stealing any of what he wrote about himself on his blog bio:

Carl is incredibly outgoing. He draws people to him with a magnetic personality (and I only know him through the cybersphere!), and invites those people to congregate in his midst. In addition to being highly magnetic, Carl utilizes his influence in a community driven manner: he coaches and encourages people to follow him down that same path of outgoing, personally charismatic happiness. And trust me, I’m not just saying that. Carl is a very successful net-worker, and many people could take some notes on how he manages to get his name “out there” including me!
His personal brand is fitness and health. He works hard to put the good-word out there about health, the happiness of health, and the motivation for change that so many people really need to embrace!

So let’s check out his blog a bit, and get to know the company I’ve been invited to keep! If you feel so inclined, comment on some of his posts. He loves that!

And definitely keep your eyes peeled for the special recipe I’ve cooked up just for him. You’ll all love this recipe, and it will be posted exclusively on his site – so don’t miss it! Don’t worry, though, I will definitely be posting a quick note to let you all know it’s there.
